Sincerity, altruism, seriousness, love are the most important traits of the one who was Alexandra Nanu, whom fate took suddenly in October 2010, when she was just 26 years old, because of a serious health condition. So strong was her footprint in the hearts and souls of people that her parents and close friends felt the need to keep her memory alive by continuing to do what she would have done with great commitment. Tuesday, December 12,

in Thalia Hall, the sixth edition of the Humanitarian Gala “We Believe in You” was held

by artists loved by the public in Sibiu. For six years, the gala host has been Nicolle Stănese, who confessed that she always feels emotional when participating in this event: “It’s very touching

for me. I host this event every time because it is already a tradition. Every year, we have exchanged positive energy with the public, which is what it feels like in the back, where the artists are. I enjoy the audience for the sixth edition of the We believe in yougala. It is very important to support the talented children around us, appreciate their performance, give a chance to those who do not have fortunate financial possibilities. I do not recall another city where there are so many beautiful voices. I hope we created a fairy-tale atmosphere, “she said.

Emotion to … tears

The concert was opened with the play “Busuioc” by Luana Prodea, from Sibiu, who competed at Romanian Junior Voice. The audience enjoyed numerous artistic performances from teenagers, including Dominique Simionescu and Mihai Teacu, winner of the piano contest. The musician from Fagaras managed to bring tears in the public’s eyes with the interpretation of the song “The parental house is not for sale.”

Radu Nechifor and his band DreamCatchers, next to Anca Mărginean, performing popular and contemporary songs, continued to bring the winter holiday magin in the soul of the attenders.

During the six years I have worked with absolutely extraordinary people who have offered all their energy to help. On this stage, I have lived a multitude of emotions, and I hope from the bottom of my heart that this evening was full of emotion, as evenings in the years before were. Feel what we have felt, “Radu Nechifor said.

Then, the student in the first year at the Faculty of Economics, Finance and Banking, Andreea Angela Dobrota received a diploma of excellence from AUAN.

The event ended with the carols sung by “Bâlea Boar Choir from Brad.

Projects run by AUAN

Finally, Anca Oprean, President of the Humanitarian Association Alexandra Nanu,

has made the balance sheet of the association’s activities during the ten months We thank all the artists present and to the host Nicolle Stănese, who offered to support the AUAN project without any financial reward, giving you a show of the best quality in a holiday atmosphere, thus bringing the magic of the winter holidays. Thanks to the trust it has gained, AUAN has managed to contribute through the projects carried out over a period of ten months in the education of teenagers in Sibiu, who have the desire and the ability to study, but are deprived of financial means. The AUAN project granted over 20 scholarships worth 1500-3000 lei, including medical treatments, in particular dental and ophthalmologic, Christmas and Easter gifts for 50 beneficiaries. We have managed to sponsor teenagers participating in competitions, contests, festivals, including musical instruments. We thank everyone who has made our achievements possible “.

For a few years, the Association dedicated to Alexandra also bears the memory of her father, Ioan Nanu who has recently joined her in the sky.
